Kate Beckinsale - Sexy star of Van Helsing and the Underworld franchise attended a press thing in a Manchester hotel to announce that she should be considered for roles in Steven Spielberg's upcoming epic movie 'Below Decks'. The film is based on the original idea by thespoof.com writer Morse. She was also joined by Manchester United ace - midfielder Cristiano Ronaldo who also thinks he deserves a part.
The instant snack company decided to honour her with a limited edition flavour after she payed homage to them after the Oscars. Kate Beckinsale is to have a Pot Noodle named after her - called Steak and BeckinsALE.
The 36-year-old was lusting for some calorific noodles at Sir Elton John's after show party.
The A-lister, who starred in Pearl Harbour and is married to Hollywood Director Len Wiseman, said: "I am hoping for a Pot Noodle and a cup of tea!"
Pot Noodle Flavour Development Manager, Grahame Walker, said: “We’re always on the look out for ideas for new flavours so when Miss Beckinsale announced her love for Pot Noodles we just had to make one in her honour.
“Steak & BeckinsALE is just like Kate – classically British and a tasty little number.”
Early Career
Kate was born in London on the 26th July, 1976. Her father is the actor, Richard Beckinsale. While at New College, Oxford studying French and Russian Literature, Beckinsale was offered a role in Kenneth Branagh's 1993 film - Much Ado About Nothing. After this role Kate decided to leave university and focus on her acting career. Other smaller film and stage roles followed including an appearance in a UK TV film version of Jane Austin's Emma.
